Case Study: Sync Systems – 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Vehicle Wrap
Overview
Sync Systems, an established audio-video and smart-home integration company based in Northern California. Requested a design for a full vehicle wrap for their new 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. Their goal was simple but challenging:
Create a modern, clean wrap that visually aligns with their existing fleet. Specifically their full-size Transit van while adapting the brand look to a smaller, uniquely shaped SUV.
The final wrap, Version 3, maintains Sync Systems’ signature aesthetic soft, flowing bubble motifs paired with a crisp, high-tech brand feel while maximizing readability and visual impact on a compact vehicle.
Project goals
Maintain brand consistency with the company’s existing Transit van wrap.
Adapt the circular graphic motif in a way that fits the Bronco Sport’s proportions and body lines.
Give the vehicle strong road visibility without overwhelming the smaller space.
Ensure text readability from long distances and quick drive by moments.
Maintain technical accuracy in measurements for print production and installation.
Design
Design Iterations
1. Initial Concepting – Version 1
Version 1 established the foundational placement of the bubble graphics and brand mark on the SUV. This version experimented with shape distribution and flow but revealed balance issues:
The bubble trail felt too heavy in some areas
The direction of movement did not fully complement the Bronco Sport’s body lines
Client wanted more of the S shape in the bubble design
2. Refinement & Adjustments – Version 2
In V2, adjustments focused on:
Creating a more natural flow that wrapped around the vehicle
Lightening the bubble density
Improving text contrast and spacing
Establishing a better visual hierarchy
This version showed promise but still needed refinement to feel truly cohesive with the company branding.
3. Final Direction – Version 3
Version 3 became the approved final design.
This version succeeded because:
Improved Flow
The bubble clusters now move organically along the SUV from rear to front, echoing the van’s design while respecting the Bronco’s unique geometry.
Perfected Text Placement
The Sync Systems logo sits within a clean rectangular area large, readable, and uncluttered.
Brand Cohesion
The SUV now feels like a natural member of the existing fleet.
Previous Van Design
The previous Sync Systems van design uses a clean, modern aesthetic built around a flowing cluster of circular “bubble” graphics that subtly form an abstract S-shape, representing the “Sync” brand. This creates instant visual identity while adding movement and softness to the large van body.
The wrap combines:
A minimal white base for a high-tech, professional look
Teal and blue bubble gradients forming the signature "S" curve
Bold, readable typography placed at eye-level
Clear hierarchy for the logo, phone number, services, and website
Overall, the design balances professionalism with creativity, using the bubble motif as a distinctive brand element that gives the vehicle strong recognition and continuity across the company’s fleet.
Finished Product
The new Bronco Sport wrap:
Strengthens Sync Systems’ presence on the road
Extends their fleet branding with superior consistency
Provides high visibility and instant recognition
Reflects the company’s modern, tech-forward identity
The client now has a professional, cohesive fleet that elevates their brand perception and increases visibility wherever the vehicle travels.
